Sponsor a season.
Sponsor a season that can change what feels possible.
Your support can cover practical sport costs like fees, uniforms, boots, equipment, coaching, and approved access support.
The cost of sport should not decide who gets to belong.
WaterBoy sponsorship connects supporters with practical costs that would otherwise keep a rangatahi out of sport.
We listen first, confirm the barrier, and work with clubs, schools, whanau and sponsors so support is specific, respectful and useful.
Sponsors can expect
Clear use of funds, updates from the WaterBoy team, and a relationship grounded in respect, not charity.
How sponsorship works.
A rangatahi, whanau member, school, club, or community worker gets in touch.
WaterBoy confirms the barrier, pathway, and support level needed.
A supporter is matched and WaterBoy handles the practical admin.
Ready to help?
Every sponsorship starts with a practical need and ends with a young person getting the chance to participate.
Your support can cover practical sport costs like fees, uniforms, boots, equipment, coaching, and approved access support.
What is the Sponsorship Programme
WaterBoy sponsorship connects supporters with practical costs that would otherwise keep a rangatahi out of sport. The goal is simple: make it possible for a young person to participate, belong, and keep growing through sport.
How it works: a rangatahi, whanau member, school, club, or community worker gets in touch; WaterBoy confirms the barrier and pathway; a supporter is matched; and WaterBoy handles the practical admin with clubs, schools, invoices, and gear suppliers.
Sponsors can expect clear use of funds, updates from the WaterBoy team, and a relationship grounded in respect, not charity.

How It Works
1
Identify People
We identify people who want to do sport but can't, for some reason. Barriers could be financial, disability, confidence, sexual orientation, age, gender, religion or other.
2
Create Initiatives
We create initiatives that help break down these barriers to give Kiwis an opportunity to do sport.
3
Tell Stories
We film these initiatives and make cool stories from them.
4
Connect supporters
We give people an opportunity to sponsor these initiatives as a way of demonstrating their values and their community give-back.
