Your sponsorship helps with a recipient's fees and gear, along with the work needed to arrange their support. We work with recipients, whānau and clubs, and keep you updated on the support your sponsorship provides.

How sponsorship works

Step 1

We find out what's needed

We talk with recipients, whānau and providers about the activity and the support needed to take part.

Step 2

We arrange the support

Your sponsorship contributes to approved recipient costs or programme delivery, depending on the option you choose.

Step 3

We keep you updated

We coordinate with whānau and providers, keep track of the support and share updates with you.

Sponsorship options

Sponsorship helps cover recipient or programme costs, along with the work needed to deliver that support. Get in touch and we'll talk through the options.

Tier 1

$4,000 + GST

Support one recipient through a dedicated sponsorship. Your contribution helps cover their sport costs and WaterBoy's operating costs. You'll receive quarterly updates, with visits arranged where appropriate.

Tier 1 video add-on

$1,000 + GST

A video of up to three minutes about your sponsorship, with shorter versions for social media. We'll agree the content and arrange the appropriate consent before filming and sharing a recipient's story.

Tier 2

$800 + GST

Contribute to Tier 2 recipient support and the work needed to organise it. Talk to us about how your contribution would be allocated.

Supporter

$1,600 + GST

Help fund programme delivery, such as Dabble Days, Waka Nui or another agreed WaterBoy activity.

Updates and sponsor recognition

Quarterly written updates, with photos where consent is in place
Opportunities to meet a recipient's whānau or watch them take part, where appropriate
Acknowledgement through WaterBoy's social posts, events, signage or other agreed channels
An annual report on the support you've provided

We'll agree the updates and recognition included in your sponsorship. These depend on the arrangement. We get the appropriate consent before sharing a recipient's story or images.
