Murray Wallace (Chair)
2017 - Present

Murray is a foundational board member of Te Tamawai Trust and was one of the first sponsors to jump behind The WaterBoy concept back in 2016. Murray is an owner and Managing Director of Blue Wallace Surveys. Murray is lived in Waikato his whole life. He is very aware that life has treated him well and he is passionate about creating for deserving youth who are willing to work hard to make the most of those opportunities.

Bryn Little

2022 - Present

After carving a successful career abroad as a business strategist, Bryn has returned to Aotearoa where he is a self employed consultant.

Bryn has a huge love of people and community and is a perennial backer of ‘the underdog’.

Bryn has worked closely with Te Wananga o Aotearoa, and many Waikato folk with be familiar with brands for which Bryn lead the idea and business case - Ultra Fast Fibre (now Tuatahi First Fibre), and Our Power.

John Parker
2017 - Present

 

A firm man of faith and lover of community, John resides in Mystery Creek on the outskirts of Hamilton, with his wife Alison and two dogs.

John Represented New Zealand in Cricket 1973-1981, before going on to found Sport Waikato, the first Regional Sports Trust.

Stacey Waaka

2023 - Present

A current New Zealand representative in both Rugby 15’s and 7’s, Stacey has forged a reputation for herself as being a hard competitor on the field, as well as a kind, loving, and giving person off the field.

Before becoming a board member, Stacey completed many years volunteering with The Waterboy with Lugtons initiatives and features in our 2024 book, More Than a Game VII.

Stacey brings impressive high performance experience, vast networks, plus varied lived experiences and perspectives to many of our other board members.
