Making sport possible for Kiwi kids.
WaterBoy removes practical barriers so rangatahi can show up, join in, and grow through sport, activity, connection, and belonging.
Practical support that turns interest into participation.
Fees, gear, transport, uniforms, club connections and trusted follow-through can be the difference between watching from the sideline and joining the team.
WaterBoy listens first, checks the barrier, works with clubs and schools, and connects the right support around each rangatahi.
Just being on the field is the win.
Sport creates routine, belonging, confidence, mentors, friendships, and moments where young people can see what they are capable of.
Four ways WaterBoy helps.
Sponsorship Programme
Practical costs covered so a young person can take part.
Waka Nui
Bigger sport and development opportunities that need extra support.
Dabble Days
Taster sessions that make trying something new feel easy.
Everybody's Game
Talks and workshops for safer, more inclusive sport spaces.

What We Do
WaterBoy connects rangatahi with the support they need to participate in sport and physical activity. That might mean fees, gear, transport support, club connections, or a trusted person helping the next step happen.
Sport gives young people more than a game. It creates routine, belonging, confidence, mentors, friendships, and moments where they can see what they are capable of.
